But, right after graduation, a decision to drive a semi truck for a few years changed everything. The plan was simple: live on the road, save money, and eventually dive into the world of design. What was meant to be a short chapter turned into over two decades of adventure, as our founder fell in love with the trucking industry. From hauling every imaginable load to roles such as dispatching, brokering, operations direction, and even owning a trucking company—it became a lifestyle filled with challenges, connections, and growth.

While immersed in trucking, the passion for graphic and digital design never faded. Spare moments were spent sharpening design skills and diving into the digital world—learning website creation, social marketing, and everything in between. Our founder even built his first website nearly 20 years ago, sitting in a semi truck bunk during downtime—a coupon site promoting Kansas City businesses. Those road-bound days were not only filled with travel and industry experience but also with hours dedicated to mastering the art of design and digital strategy.

Two years ago, an unexpected head injury brought this trucking journey to a halt. After over a year of recovery, it became clear that life behind the wheel of a commercial vehicle was no longer possible. Faced with the question of "what's next," the answer became obvious: merge two decades of trucking expertise with a lifelong love for graphic design and digital solutions. From this realization, Semi Graphics was born—a business dedicated to serving the trucking industry with stunning graphic and digital designs tailored to its unique needs.
